Recording the Best Intro:

The first thing to remember is that you can record your intro as many times as you like. So don't be shy, give it a go! If you're unsure, listen to it and if you don't like it, re-record!
If your Mobile Phone Line doesn't give the best call quality, you may want to use your Land / Fixed Line (as it will be easier for you to understand callers and vice-versa).
Even if you do want to put a little more thought into it and plan your intro in advance, you may not want to sound like you are reading from a script. An idea is to just put down a few points to remind yourself what you want to say, then talk naturally.
You may be a little shy at first, but make sure you don't speak too softly so that other people can't understand you well.
Sound confident and positive.
Smile while you're recording. Other callers will be able to hear it in your voice.
Common things to include are your name (first name only, please!), your age and the city or region you live in.
